IN MEMORIAM Charles M. Carman Jr., 77, Familiar Holiday Bellringer ONEONTA – Charles “Charlie” M. Carman Jr., 77, who for years could always be found ringing the bell at a Salvation Army kettle at this time of year, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Bassett Hospital. A lifelong Oneonta resident, he was born Sept. 18, 1943, the son of the late Charles and Frances Sturiale. For a period of time he worked for SUNY Oneonta in the custodial department.…
