ONEONTA – Oneonta police served three no-knock search warrants at three apartments just before sunup today, arresting two men after a six-month interagency investigation of heroin and crack-cocaine sales in the City of the Hills.
At 6 a.m., 30 officers and K9s from the OPD, a Joint Otsego/Delaware Special Operations Bureau, and state police surprised occupants of Apartment B, 38 West St., and Apartments 207 and 306, 9 Lewis Ave.
ONEONTA – More than 71 bags of heroin and crack cocaine were seized during a raid at the Motel 88 on Chestnut Street in Oneonta.
Jason R. Chase, 33, Cortland, was arrested following a no knock search warrant in room 241 at Motel 88. Oneonta Police allegedly recovered 60 glassine bags of heroin and 11 bags of crack cocaine, with a total street value of $1,750. No weapons were located.
During the course of the investigation it was found that Chase had two arrest warrants for Criminal Sale of a Controlled substance in the Third Degree and was also wanted by the New York State Division of Corrections and Community Supervision.
WORCESTER – Two people were arrested with heroin, needles, crack pipes and crack cocaine after failing to return a car they had borrowed from a neighbor, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Department.
Andrew J. Robinson, 20, Worcester and Victoria C. Keever, 21, Schenevus, were arrested after deputies allege that a Worcester neighbor allowed the defendants to use their vehicle to make what they believed to be a short trip to the store on Sunday, March 12, for approximately one hour. The defendants allegedly failed to return the vehicle as agreed upon, and the next day, the resident notified the Sheriff’s Office.
ONEONTA – 30 bags of heroin and 23 bags of crack cocaine were seized and two people arrested in a raid this morning at the Budget Motel on Southside.
Dale K. Rogers, 24 and Rameara N. Sample, 26, both of Brooklyn, were arrested after a joint investigation with the Oneonta Police, State Police and Delaware County Sheriff’s Department into illegal narcotics trafficking in and around the city of Oneonta.
ONEONTA – A man and a woman from Oneonta were arrested Wednesday after the OPD Special Response Team and K9s raided Apartment 2A, 195 Main St., at 6 a.m. and seized a substance suspected to be crack cocaine with a street value of $400, according to Oneonta police.
The suspects were identified as Nelson J. Canales, 34, and Jamie L. Osborne, 31.
