IN MEMORIAM: Dorothy Beams, 89; Last Mayor Of Village Of Schenevus SCHENEVUS – Dorothy R. Beams, 89, the last mayor of the former Village of Schenevus, passed away peacefully Dec. 4, 2015, at Kingsway Manor in Schenectady. In addition to serving as mayor in 1991-94, when the village was dissolved into the Town of Maryland, she was a trustee and village treasurer.
