IN MEMORIAM: Emory A. Oeser Jr., 83; Served In Airborne, Highway Department CHERRY VALLEY – Emory A. Oeser Jr., 83, who served as a paratrooper in the elite 82nd Airborne Division and later spent his career with the county Highway Department, passed away peacefully at home on May 12, 2017, with his family at his side. A life-long Cherry Valley resident, Emory was born Jan. 18, 1934, to Emory and Bertha Oeser.  He married Ruth Snyder on July 5, 1958.…
