 COOPERSTOWNJustin Robert Hoag, 32, passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at his home after a long and courageous battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

He was born March 31, 1984, at Bassett Hospital, the son of Donald Philip Hoag, Jr. and Rosemary Dorothy (Kirn) Hoag.

Born with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Justin never let this get in the way of achieving his goals.  He graduated with the Class of 2005 from Cooperstown Central School, where he was affectionately known as “Hoagster the Weatherman” for his ability to accurately predict the weather.

COOPERSTOWN – Justin Robert Hoag, beloved son of Donald and Rosemary Hoag, passed away unexpectedly today – Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 – in the early morning hours at his home.  He was 32.

Arrangements are pending under the care and guidance of the Connell, Dow & Deysenroth Funeral Home in Cooperstown.
