Hurley, 62; Spent 39-Year Career At Remington CHERRY VALLEY – John Richard Hurley, who retired after a 39-year career at Remington Arms, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 19, 2017. He was 62. Known to his friends as “John Boy,” he was born in Manhattan on Feb. 9, 1955. John spent his summers in Cherry Valley until permanently moving here in 1971, graduating from Cherry Valley Central in 1973.…
