State Education Commissioner Will Pay First Visit To County ONEONTA –  State Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, announced today that MaryEllen Elia, the new state education commissioner, will visit Laurens Central School on Thursday. Senator Seward and Commissioner Elia will join Laurens Central School Superintendent Romona Wenck for a tour, and will have a chance to talk with students, teachers, and administrators during her visit.…
