IN MEMORIAM: Michael Hassick 68; Earned 2 Purple Hearts In Vietnam ONEONTA – Michael Howard Hassick, 68, of Oneonta, a Marine and decorated Vietnam War veteran, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, at Bassett Hospital. He was born on May 17, 1948 in Hancock, the son of Arvilla (Hassick) Jordan and Robert W Jordan.  He graduated from Oneonta High School in 1966.
