Making Faces At

Library Pumpkin Glow

The walkways outside of Huntington Memorial Library were aglow this evening as residents brought their creations to the pumpkin glow. Above, West Oneonta’s Kim Ferstler and Ed Keator, left, pose with their pumpkin creations, while Randy Keator, places his darling clementine jack-o-lantern made from, what else, a clementine orange! At right, Elizabeth Raphelson places a pumpkin along the walkway bearing the logo of her store The Underground Attic. (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)

Get In The Halloween Mood!

Get In The Halloween Mood!

If you want to get in the Halloween mood, take a detour along Tansey Road, Town of Milford, where Abby Waters, 14, her brother Noah, 8, and parents Fred and Mary Jane have decorated dozens of pumpkins along the roadway to herald the upcoming arrival of All Hallow's Eve on Oct. 31. The Waterses got the gourds from neighbor Eddie Skillen, who sells pumpkins down on Route 28, whose bumper crop resulted in more than he could handle. (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
