IN MEMORIAM: Richard Benjamin Sr., 77; Retired From County Highway Department BURLINGTON FLATS – Richard L. Benjamin Sr., 77, who retired after 37 years with the Otsego County Highway Department, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, with his family at his side. Richard was born on April 5, 1940 in Burlington Flats, the son of the late Murray and Florence Stickles Benjamin. Richard was pre-deceased by his wife, Patricia A. Maxson Benjamin, and daughter Jeanne Eccelston.…
