IN MEMORIAM Robert H. Boyle, Age 88; Writer, Environmentalist COOPERSTOWN – Noted author and environmentalist Robert H. Boyle passed away May 19, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. He was 88 years old. Born on Aug. 21, 1928 in Brooklyn, he was the son of Elizabeth Coundouris Boyle and Robert Hamilton Boyle.
