Multiple Power Outages Following April Snowstorm Multiple power outages have been reported through out Otsego County due to Monday nights snow storm. The heavy and wet snow of this spring storm has brought down many tree branches through out the county, several in the Village of Cooperstown where Chestnut Street remains closed to traffic. First Big Storm Of Winter Drops Foot On County Seven inches of fluffy snow fell on Otsego County overnight, the first substantial snowstorm of the 2014-15 season. The National Weather Service is reporting about another half-foot of snow will fall into this evening in Oneonta and Cooperstown, with temperatures holding at 10 degrees. By 9 p.m., the snow is supposed to taper off, with temperatures dropping to -4, and winds pushing the chill factor to -13.…
