The weather forecast looks wet for the Fourth of July weekend, but here is list of planned activities:
Friday, July 2
Hometown 4th presents a concert, 7:30 p.m., in Neahwa Park, Oneonta.
Cherry Valley Sculpture Trail opening reception, 6 p.m., Star Theater, Cherry Valley.
Springfield “Drive-by” Fourth of July opens.
Saturday, July 3
Flag Retirement Ceremony, 11 a.m. Otsego Sportsmen’s Association, town of Otsego.
Otsego Lake Association Board Parade, 3 p.m., Otsego Lake.
Meet me on Main, starting at 3 p.m., Main Street in Oneonta.
Fireworks over Canadarago Lake, dusk, town of Richfield.
Sunday, July 4
Old fashioned Independence Day at The Farmers’ Museum, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., near Cooperstown.
Hometown 4th, 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., with parade (1 p.m.), fireworks (dusk), Neahwa Park activities all day, Oneonta.
Monday, July 5
Fireworks over Otsego Lake, sponsored by the Cooperstown Fire Department, dusk.
