IN TWO OR THREE SENTENCES, EXPLAIN YOUR PHILOSOPHY OF GOVERNMENT:

I believe that our local government should be diverse and equal represented by life time residents with open minds and no personal agendas. With the ability to listen to and act for the people in the best interest of everyone.

WHAT ARE THE THREE MAJOR ISSUES THE TOWN OF ONEONTA FACES, AND HOW WOULD YOU ADDRESS THEM?

All issues are MAJOR.

  1. Merger with City of Oneonta. I see no benefit in marring the City of Oneonta and the Town of Oneonta, as some have put it . But we are one big community and need to work together in a fair and cooperative way without all the hype and and rhetoric.
  1. Making our roads and streets safer for our residents. For example, our constable needs help; one can’t do it all.  We need to enforce speed limits on Southside Drive, Upper East and West streets – all streets for that matter.
  1. Realizing we are now a huge tourist areas; example, baseball. We need to help in any way to make it blossom; not put up roadblocks .

IS THERE A STATEMENT YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE WITH VOTERS?

If I am elected I will be a voice for the People of the Town of Oneonta, with no agenda to sell us out to anyone.  If anyone wants something brought to the board’s attention, I will be glad to, whether I agree with it or not.  One thing’s for sure, as anyone who knows me knows: I make myself heard.

  1. I have known Randy my whole life. He is perfect for the position of Oneonta of town supervisor.
This man is not your average politician. The people of the town are very fortunate to have Randy’s interest in serving. He is very straightforward and forward thinking also. He will tell it like it is every single time.
