Student Dies Suddenly

WALTON – A senior at Walton High School died suddenly this morning, after she suffered a medical emergency in the hallways, according to a letter sent home to parents.

“This morning, one of our 12th grade students had a medical emergency in the hallway and later died,” wrote Superintendent Roger B. Clough II. “Our sincere condolences and thoughts go out to her family and friends.”

The student has not been named, and no additional details are available at this time. All after school activities have been cancelled, and counselors have been made available to students.
