Village Trustees Throw  Out

26 Uncleared-Sidewalk Fines

snowflakes_PNG7545COOPERSTOWN – After receiving five letters of complaints from homeowners fined $108 each in January because they failed to clear an inch of snow from their sidewalks, the Village Board this evening “cancelled” their fines.

Mayor Jeff Katz sent the matter to the Streets Committee, chaired by Trustee Cindy Falk, to determine whether changes need to be made in the law of village policies as a result of the complaints.
