After this morning’s downpours cancelled the Otsego Lake Festival, the only activity at Coopertown’s Lakefront Park at this hour were relatives of Collin Priest, 12, of Orlando, Fla., waiting to cheer him on at this afternoon’s opening Dreams Park ceremonies. At least two crews, Joy Martin and her husband, John Baker, from the Seneca Yacht Club, Geneva, and the three-generation Hudson team from the Saratoga Sailing Club – granddad John, 70, dad Dave, 50, and grandson Peter, early 20s – plan to compete at the 2016 Thistle Nationals at the Eugene Yacht Club in Oregon in late July.
