Honored By Her Hometown Friends

Oneonta-born Mary-Ann Corrao Ferree, known for 40 years as Brandy in Buffalo & Brandy, a combo that has been performing nationally since 1977, is presented with a Hartwick College medallion (and a basket of Hartwick memorabilia) by her alma mater’s president, Margaret Drugovich, during Fabulous Friday activities yesterday in Oneonta’s Muller Plaza. Mayor Russ Southard the tearfully delighted performer with a framed proclamation that proclaimed Friday, July 3, “Mary-Ann Corrao Ferree Day in Oneonta.” Also on hand was Oneonta Town Supervisor Bob Wood, a classmate of Brandy’s at Oneonta High School.
