Unatego’s Dana Stepp was named the Class C girls soccer Player of the Year by the New York State Sports Writers Association on Friday, June 18.

The New York State Girls Soccer All-State selections also included several local Section IV players.
The local players honored were:

Soccer
Class C
First Team: Hannah Johnson, Oneonta; Anika Buzzy, Oneonta.
Class C
First Team: Meghan Perry, Unatego.
Second Team: Morgan Perry, Unatego.
Class D
First Team: Angie Competiello, Schenevus; Emma Ough, Edmeston.
The Center State Conference announced its 2021 spring softball All-Stars on Sunday, June 27.
Hawkeye sophomore third base/pitcher Dani Seamon won the Most Valuable Player award for Division II, which the Hawkeyes won en route to the Section III Class C title game.
The Cooperstown players honored were:
Softball
First Team: Seamon, Katie Crippen, Marley Lippitt, Abby Miller.
Honorable Mention: Ellie Hotaling, Jeana Geertgens, Anna Lambert.

The Midstate Conference announced its 2021 spring softball All-Stars on Wednesday, June 23.
The Unatego players honored were:

Softball
First Team: Madison Couperthwait.
Second Team: Haleigh Burton, Kaitlyn Fortin, Alexa Lucia.Honorable Mention: Jenna Faulkner.
