New Strategies To Share Services

MIDDLEFIELD

Local officials from Otsego County’s 24 towns, nine villages and one city have spent the day meeting with representatives of Laberge Group and CGR to help develop a countywide strategic plan.

“Today we are meeting with the clerks, highway superintendents, fire chiefs and the chief elected officials in the hope of identifying key projects and opportunities,” said Nicole Allen, planning services manager of Laberge Group.

During their session, local highway superintendents discussed ways to cooperate in equipment purchases, maintenance and shared services.
