IN MEMORIAM: Michael Tripp, 52;

Worked For Otesaga, Otsego County

COOPERSTOWN – Michael Scott Tripp, 52, who worked at The Otesaga and the county Highway Department for 25 years, died peacefully at home on Thursday, June 16, 2016.

He was born on Sept. 1, 1963, in Cooperstown, to the late Robert and Rosalyn Tripp.

He loved the outdoors – hunting, camping with family and friends, and especially a peaceful day of fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Tripp, daughter Rebecca Tripp, son Shane Young, and grandson Shane Young Jr.  Also, siblings Duane (Alice) Tripp, Madison, Tammy (Earl) Loveland, Springfield, Marnita Tripp, Stamford, Susan (Tony) Sapienza, Chestertown, and Christine Stoesser, Oneonta, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 24, at the Ottman Funeral Home.
