SQSPCA Assists with Animal Seizure

NORWICH—The Susquehanna Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals assisted area law enforcement on Wednesday, January 22 in the rescue of dozens of animals.

“On behalf of the Susquehanna SPCA, I can confirm that we worked with the New York State Police and the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office yesterday to seize dozens of animals from a suspected animal cruelty case in Norwich,” SQSPCA Executive Director Stacie Haynes confirmed on Thursday, January 23.

“This case is very sensitive and remains under investigation. I can say that this is going to be a very costly case for us and donations are greatly needed and appreciated,” Haynes said.
