Limerick Brings Levity to Issue

I have written this verse in hopes that it will bring some humor to our contentious debate about climate change. Enjoy.

It was once thought that swift global warming
Would send our scorched planet astorming.
But despite all the fear
That we’d soon disappear
Six feet of snow fell without warning.
