Conference Scheduled
In New York State, more than 656,000 people provide unpaid care to loved ones living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias. As the disease progresses, the emotional and physical toll on caregivers increases—often affecting their own health and well-being.
To offer education and support, the Alzheimer’s Association Northeastern New York Chapter is hosting a free Caregiver Conference on Tuesday, September 9 at The Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown. This full-day event will bring together local experts and fellow caregivers to share practical advice, resources, and encouragement.
Helios Care is proud to be part of this important day. We’ll present a session focused on providing care throughout the course of illness—not just in life’s final months. Alzheimer’s is a journey that evolves over time. As needs change, so does the type of care required. Our goal is to help families feel prepared and less alone, no matter where they are in the process.
If you are caring for someone with dementia—or know someone who is—we encourage you to attend this free conference. By learning how to manage the challenges of Alzheimer’s, caregivers can protect their own well-being and enhance the care they provide.
