‘Made with Fire’ Opens at 25 Main Collective

CHERRY VALLEY—This Friday, September 4, “Made with Fire” opens at 25 Main Collective, 21 Main Street, Cherry Valley with a reception from 5-8 p.m. and food by Coffee & Crumb Café. This exhibit features the work of artists who create using heat and fire, including Jasmine Crowe, Chuck Matteson, Wendy Reich, Shauger, and Anda Stelian. The 25 Main Collective gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. “Made with Fire” will be on display through Sunday, September 27.

Other Cherry Valley First Friday events include open mic at The Telegraph School, 83 Alden Street, starting at 6 p.m. and live music with The Phakers at the Red Shed Ale House, 10 Main Street, from 7-9 p.m.

Thanks to funding from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Community Grants Program, Saturday, October 3 is the Cherry Valley “Falltoberfest.” From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., artists participating in the Cherry Valley Art Trail will feature their work at Cherry Valley businesses and in open studios. Vendors will be set up in the NBT Bank parking lot and Sue Miller will host “Ghost Tour Hay Rides.” Live music and a performance by the Happy Haggs will also be featured.
