YMCA Parks Program

YMCA board members and administrators – from left, Cindy Struckle, Beth Goetz, Kristy Lawson, Sarah Manchester, Frank Russo, Carin Eaton, Anne Gregory and Don Tubia – were present this evening to hear Common Council decide to fund the Summer Parks Program in the 2017 budget. In part, the money to fund the $22,000 program was made from closing the Wilber Park pool for the final two weeks of the summer season, at a savings of $6,000. Last year, City Treasurer Meg Hungerford reported, only 100 people used the pool in that time. (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
