IN MEMORIAM: Craig D. Chase, 67;

Returned Here After 17 Years In S.C.

WESTFORD – Craig D. Chase, 67, who returned to Otsego County in 2008 after 17 years in social services in North Carolina, has “gone fishing.”

Craig married Susan Morse in 1983, in Connecticut.

They moved to Worcester for nine years, relocated to Jacksonville, N.C., for 17 years where he worked for Onslow County Department of Social Services, returning to Schenevus in 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Chase of Westford; children, Gary and Selina Adams of Worcester, Seth and Amanda Adams of New Bern, North Carolina and Sarah Adams of Verona, North Carolina; and nine grandchildren, Tiffany, Tyler, Morgan, William, Sophia, Rebecca, Alexander, Riley and Vivian.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Chandler; and his parents, Frank and Jaqueline.

Private services will be held.
