Light Snow, Candlelight

Entices Record Crowd

The Decker family’s horse-drawn carriage, top photo, looked like it was in Central Park during The Farmers’ Museum’s Candlelight Evening Saturday, as cars were stacked bumper-to-bumper up West Lake Road. The Hotaling family of Fly Creek – from left, mom Dara, dad Jim and daughters Sophia and Jill – all volunteered to serve hot cider to visitors. Lower right, Kenneth Root and Karrie Larsson, formerly of Cooperstown, now visiting from Brooklyn, warmed their hands by the bonfire on the Village Green in front of the Bump Tavern.
