$3.9 Million Awarded County In 16 CFA Grants

The Cuomo Administration today announced its 2018 CFAs – the state’s economic development grants – and $3.5 million for a controversial gas decompression station in Oneonta’s Pony Farm commerce park wasn’t on the list.

Otsego County entities did receive 16 grants totalling $3.9 million.

The largest grant, $950,000, went to Ruby Lake Glass, an affiliate of Andella Products, the glass recylcer in Richfield Springs.

The City of Oneonta received $200,000 for microenterprise assistance to start-up businesses, and $631,000 to improvements for Upper Reservoir Improvements, plus $420,000 to begin upgrading Huntington Memorial Library’s park.

The Village of Cooperstown received $269,500 to replace the leaky skylights in the ballroom at 22 Main, and $22,500 for a walking pier at Lakefront Park.
