Youngsters Make Crafts

For Family’s Presents

Laurie Layman, Cherry Valley, right, and Jackie Graves, Oneonta, left, helps Jaden Lee, Oneonta, front, make a star-shaped yarn ornament at the volunteer with Jail Ministries of Otsego County’s third annual Angel Tree Christmas Party at St. Mary’s in Oneonta this afternoon. The event, for children who have an incarcerated parent, features tables of crafts for youngsters to make for their families, a gift selection table, free mittens and scarves, Bible teachings and holiday cookies. Seventeen local organizations participated. Each family that attended was given a $50 food voucher for a turkey with all the trimmings. (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
