COOPERSTOWN – The Fenimore Art Museum’s weekly “Food for Thought” luncheon lectures will start up again next week with Michelle Murdock, director of exhibitions, discussing Ansel Adams, whose “Early Works” exhibit opened April 1.

The first Food for Thought will be Wednesday, April 13, and all run from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.  Pre-registration required; call 547-1461.  $22 for NYSHA members; $25 for non-members.

  • May 11: Traditions of Celebration and Ritual (with Eva Fognell, Curator of the Thaw Collection, discussing the new Thaw Collection exhibition)

  • July 13: James Abbott McNeill Whistler (with Michelle Murdock, Director of Exhibitions)
  • July 27: Toulouse-Lautrec/La Boheme (with Chris Rossi, Associate Curator of Exhibitions)
  • August 10: Ansel Adams (with Michelle Murdock, Director of Exhibitions)
  • August 24: Toulouse-Lautrec/La Boheme (with Chris Rossi, Associate Curator of Exhibitions)
  • September 14: James Abbott McNeill Whistler (with Paul D’Ambrosio, President and CEO of the Fenimore Art Museum)
  • September 28: Special Thaw Collection Program (with Eva Fognell, Curator of the Thaw Collection)
  • October 12: Schoolgirl Art (with Paul D’Ambrosio, President and CEO of the Fenimore Art Museum)
