‘Nancy Waller:
A Lifetime of Art’

A new show at The Art Garage will feature the work of late Roseboom artist Nancy Waller, who died in 2017 at 98.

According to a media release, “Waller ‘s work has been in the back of a closet too long and has recently been re-discovered by her family. Nancy painted as the family camped at Cape Breton Island, out West, in Maine, in the French Alps and Provence. She also captures the farms and hills of South Kent, Connecticut, where the family grew up, as well as Cherry Valley and Cooperstown.

The proceeds will benefit Waller’s favorite charities, including the local food bank, prison reform and the Cooperstown Presbyterian Church Social Action program. Open noon to 4 p.m., Friday June 4, through Tuesday, June 8.
