Bassett Welcomes New Practitioners in September

COOPERSTOWN—Bassett Healthcare Network announced on Monday, October 6 that it welcomed 12 new healthcare practitioners during the month of September.

Lucille Lee, MD, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as an attending physician with Radiation Oncology at Bassett Medical Center, 1 Atwell Road, Cooperstown, and Bassett Cancer Institute at FoxCare, 1 FoxCare Drive, Oneonta. Dr. Lee performs radiation oncology procedures such as external beam radiation therapy and more. She is accepting new patients by referral. Dr. Lee earned her medical degree from Rutgers University—Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. Her residency took place at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. She is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Rafael Medina, MD, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as an attending physician with Ophthalmology at various locations across the network. Dr. Medina provides ophthalmologic care to patients of all ages, including treatment of eye conditions and more. He is accepting new patients. Dr. Medina earned his medical degree from University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, Wisconsin. His residency took place at State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Bailey O’Donnell, MD, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a pediatric and adult medicine hospitalist at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. Dr. O’Donnell provides care to patients admitted to Bassett Medical Center, including diagnosis and treatment of illness, prescriptions, specialist referrals following a patient’s hospital stay, and more. Dr. O’Donnell completed her medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Medicine in Syracuse. Her residency training took place at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.

Bishnu Singh, MBBS, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as an attending physician with Internal Medicine at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. As a hospitalist, Dr. Singh provides care to admitted adult patients, providing diagnosis and treatment of illness, prescriptions, specialist referrals upon discharge, and more. Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal. His residency took place at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

Ryan Blackwell, PA, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a physician assistant with Orthopedics at various locations across the network. Blackwell earned his master’s degree as a physician assistant from University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Timothy Fisher, PA-C, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a physician assistant with Urology at Hamilton-Madison Specialty Services, 1055 Madison Marketplace, Hamilton, and Bassett Health Center Oneida, 2031 Dream Catcher Plaza, Oneida. Fisher earned his master’s degree as a physician assistant from University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Hillary Holden, PA-C, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a physician assistant with Urology at Herkimer Specialty Services, 321 East Albany Street, Herkimer, and Little Falls Specialty Services, 140 Burwell Street, Little Falls. Holden earned her master’s degree as a physician assistant from Daemen College in Amherst, New York. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Daniel McLaren, PA, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a physician assistant with Orthopedics at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. McLaren earned his master’s degree as a physician assistant from Long Island University in Brooklyn. He is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Liane Chlus, FNP, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a nurse practitioner with Anesthesiology—Pre-Admission Testing at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. Chlus earned her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Gabrielle King, FNP, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a family nurse practitioner with Emergency and Trauma Services at various network locations. King provides care to patients of all ages, including diagnosis and treatment of very serious illness and injury, as part of the Emergency Medicine Team. She earned her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Ashley Rombough, FNP, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a family nurse practitioner with General Surgery at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown. Rombough earned her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Chamberlain University—College of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Vanessa Trafton, FNP, has joined Bassett Healthcare Network as a nurse practitioner with Family Medicine at Bassett Health Center Middleburgh, 109 Baker Avenue, Middleburgh. Trafton provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, including preventative treatment, chronic disease and acute illness management, and care coordination, and is currently welcoming new patients for appointments. Trafton earned her master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from St. John Fisher University in Rochester. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
