DAVENPORT – Bruce Edward Christman, 65, an able carpenter and auto mechanic, ended his battle with cancer at his home Friday, April 29, 2016, surrounded by his family.

He was born to Edward “Eddie” and Phyllis (Bryant) Christman on June 29, 1950.

Bruce was self-employed for most of his life doing carpentry and auto mechanics. If it had a motor, he could fix it, his family said; if you could picture it, he could build it.

Bruce enjoyed going to lawn sales, motorcycle riding, hunting and fishing. Out of all of his hobbies, he especially enjoyed camping with family and friends and spending time with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Catherine (Charles) Mould of Oneonta, Michelle (John) Revis of Springfield Center, Rebecca (Torrey) Robinson of Milford,

Bruce Christman Jr. of Davenport, Jeffrey (Angela) Christman of Bloomville, Ragen Fitzpatrick of Hensenville, Shannon Fitzpatrick of Warnerville, Ashley (Derrick) Fitzpatrick-Thomes of Richfield Springs, Brian Fitzpatrick of Oneonta, Amy (Paul) Totten of Mohawk, Kim Keegan of Hobart.

Also four sisters, Dale Webster, Merri (Tom} Hendricks-Darling, Elizabeth “Liz” Christman, and Pamela (Tim) Hotaling; brother Alan (Melinda) Christman, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Additional survivors are his first wife Linda (Pat) Fitzpatrick, second wife Janet Christman, and his very special friend Linda Cawley and her family.

He was predeceased by his parents, his infant brother Alexander Frank Christman, his brother in-laws George Webster and David Hendricks.
