Tin Cans Become Art

Inside Southside Mall

A common Star Wars theme is present in this year's Canstruction, now on display in the Southside Mall. Here, Oneonta's Autherine Gordon, Gavin Williams and Giana Watson look at 'Jabba the Can-Hutt', created by the Hannaford building team, front, and a picture of Yoda by 5 Star Subaru, rear. Other submissions include houses, logos and more. The national event has donated over 40 million pounds of food to charity since it began in 1992 and is hosted in 150 around the globe.(Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
