CCS Quiz Team Moves Up

11 Spots In Chicago Contest

Cooperstown Central Middle/High School’s quiz team came in 17th in the National Academic Quiz Team’s Small School National Tournament in Chicago over the weekend,  11 points ahead of last year and in a stronger and larger field, Tim Iversen, quiz team coach, reports from the Windy City.  In photo, team members Adam Ilgin,  Thomas Knight,  Wriley Nelson, Robert Iversen and Lindsay Brown pose by the lion in front of the Art Institute of Chicago.   The Advanced Math & Science Academy of Marlborough, Mass., won the tournament by defeating Macomb (Ill.) High School 575-220.
