CCS Quiz Team Moves Up
11 Spots In Chicago Contest
Cooperstown Central Middle/High School’s quiz team came in 17th in the National Academic Quiz Team’s Small School National Tournament in Chicago over the weekend, 11 points ahead of last year and in a stronger and larger field, Tim Iversen, quiz team coach, reports from the Windy City. The Advanced Math & Science Academy of Marlborough, Mass., won the tournament by defeating Macomb (Ill.) High School 575-220.
