At this hour, Wyatt Crowley, left, and Anthony Pollard are bottling Spitball, the Cooperstown Distillery’s new flavored whiskey, which is being launched Thursday in New York City in a reception at Bergino Baseball Clubhouse in Greenwich Village.  Distillery owner Gene Marra anticipates the whiskey – flavored with three types of cinnamon – “could be a home run, if not a grand slam.”  It seeks to compete in a niche launched by Jim Beam and Jack Daniels in the last 3-4 years.  (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
