Culvert Work Will Detour Traffic

From West Lake Road to Rte. 28

TOWN OF SPRINGFIELD – A culvert replacement on Route 80 (West Lake Road) near the Glimmerglass Opera will require north-south traffic to be diverted onto Route 28 between Cooperstown and Richfield Springs, the DOT has announced.

The work is now underway.  Detour signs are in place.

The project is expected to be completed in early December.  The work will occur between Allen Lake Road and the north end of the Glimmerglass property.
