EARLY ICE

Paul Donnelly of Cooperstown snapped this image of Otsego Lake from Four Mile Point this morning. He titled it “Early Ice,” as ice formation, according to EPA records for Glimmerglass, usually doesn’t take hold until mid-January.  The National Weather Service lists today’s low (so far) for Otsego County at minus-4.
