Hall-of-Famers Wade Boggs and Ozzie Smith flank Los Angeles Dodgers great Steve Sax, the three talking baseball with the enthusiasm of any fan who steps onto Doubleday Field. The three — along with dozens of other Major League Baseball and Hall of Fame greats — visited Cooperstown over Memorial Day weekend for the National Baseball Hall of Fame’s “Classic.” The festivities were back for the first time since 2019, thrilling a crowd estimated at 4,000 fans and delighting the players chosen to represent their teams.
