The Republicans Simply Don’t Care

The Republican-controlled Congress is doing nothing to help hard-working families survive in Otsego County. Josh Riley is working to fix that, but the Republicans rule. Vote for Josh Riley. I’m going to tell you why. The Republicans don’t care that a pound of hamburger costs $9.00, that gas is still over $4.00 a gallon and utility costs are out of control. At the same time, the Republicans have said nothing about the president’s $600 million ballroom addition to the White House on our nickel, or his frequent trips to play at Mar-a-Lago.

Each trip cost taxpayers between one and three and a half million dollars for security. We’re paying for the Iran war, which costs us at least $300 million a day, keeps your gas prices up and was never authorized by Congress. Our poor soldiers on those ships aren’t getting necessities like good food, personal items or mail. But, once again, the Republican Congress doesn’t care.

Even if Oberacker gets elected, he will be a newbie, a freshman, and will have to keep his mouth shut. We’ve got to flip this congress to Democratic.
