Will Bring Back Artifacts For Hall

Baseball Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson is in Cuba this week in connection with President Obama's historic visit.
Baseball Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson is in Cuba this week in connection with President Obama’s historic visit, and expects to bring back artifacts for the Hall’s collection.  Yesterday, he attended the Cuban National Team’s workout at Estadio Latinoamericano and presented a Hall of Fame jersey, right photo, to Cuban center field Roel Santos.  Last year, in left photo, Santos donated his jersey to the Hall after Cuba won its first victory in 55 years in the Caribbean Series.  At this hour, Idelson is attending the game between the Cuban team and the Tampa Bay Rays.  (Photo by Hall of Fame travelling photographer Jean Fruth)
