Lynn Caston

EAST MEREDITH – Lynn H. Caston, 57, of East Meredith, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer.

Survivors include a daughter in Oneonta.

Born on March 2, 1961 in Delhi, Lynn was the daughter of the late Frank Flamensfeld and Patricia (Hunt) White.

She was employed for over 16 years at FrieslandCampina Domo, the infant nutrition company in Delhi, until illness forced her early retirement.

Lynn enjoyed listening to rock music, gardening and flowers, especially sunflowers. She also loved the companionship of her pets, both dogs and cats.

She is survived by her fiancée: John Ladlee of East Meredith; daughter: Trish Caston of Oneonta; step-father: Robert White; siblings: Kathy (James) Mullinnex, William Flamensfeld and Steven White; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Besides her parents, Lynn was predeceased by a sister: Toni Flamensfeld.

Calling hours ate 5-8 p.m.  Thursday, Aug. 30, at the Hall & Peet Funeral Home, ., Delhi. A memorial service and celebration of Lynn’s life will be  at 11 a.m. Friday at the Meridale Community Church, 55 Co. Hwy 10, Meridale, with the Rev. Bruce Helstrom celebrant.
