Angel Network Needs Your Help

Every day, children in our community have needs that can be easy to overlook: a pair of winter boots, school supplies, a gas card to help a parent get to an appointment, the fee for a summer program, sports equipment, or even a little help keeping the heat on at home.

The Angel Network of Cooperstown exists to help fill those gaps. We are a volunteer-led, community-based nonprofit serving children and families in the Cooperstown Central School District, and we rely on the generosity of our neighbors and local businesses to make that work possible.

This year, we are excited to once again host our Mix & Mingle, our largest fundraising event. The evening brings our community together, introduces more people to the work of the Angel Network, and raises the funds that allow us to respond when local families need help.

We are asking local businesses, organizations, and community members to help make this year’s Mix & Mingle a success in two important ways. We are seeking event sponsors whose financial support will help offset the costs of hosting the Mix & Mingle, allowing more of the money raised that evening to support our work in the community. We are also seeking donations for our silent auction, including tangible items, gift certificates, experiences, artwork, merchandise, services, and other offerings that will make the auction fun and successful.

The impact of that generosity reaches directly into our community. In 2025 alone, the Angel Network provided holiday gifts for more than 100 local children, school supplies for 45 students, Thanksgiving meals for 20 families, and more than 200 gas and grocery cards. We also helped families with emergency needs such as heating oil, car repairs, rent, and utilities, while providing assistance that helps children participate in activities and opportunities alongside their peers.

Whether you sponsor the event, contribute an item to the silent auction, or do both, your generosity helps us continue saying “yes” when a child or family in our community needs a little extra help.
