Support for Hero Banners

I am reaching out in support of “Hometown Heroes” banners for the Village of Cooperstown. As I understand it, there has been a local woman who has undertaken the role of trying to get this implemented in Cooperstown.

Being a born and raised “Cooperstownian,” along with my parents and grandparents, there is nothing that I would love to see more than my grandfather’s face and information celebrated on a banner for his efforts during World War II. I fully support this and I hope that the sacrifices of our loved ones can be displayed in honor along the streets of my beloved hometown.
