Testing The Waters

Suzanne Guzy, Cooperstown, tests the Shadow Creek water for oxygen levels alongside Leslie Orzetti, OCCA executive director, at Mohican Farm this afternoon, part of a stream-health training workshop for volunteers. Attendees learned from specialists from Dickinson College how to a check a stream for temperature, clarity, conductivity, oxygen levels, Ph balance and more,  to better monitor creek and stream health throughout the county.
