Otsego County In Competition

For $1/2 Billion In State Funds

Both newspapers lead off with Otsego and five other counties in the Mohawk Valley Region mounting an energetic, focused effort to obtain $500 million from Governor Cuomo's Upstate Development Fund, perhaps by year's end. Such an award would be transformative, participants are saying. A particular treat in this week's edition is an interview with Alan Taylor, who published "William Cooper's Town." He spoke last week at Hartwick College.
