‘Unsung Heroes’ Get a Volume Two

I am pleased to announce that Volume Two of “Cooperstown, NY: Home of the Unsung Heroes” is now at the editor. This volume has more pages than the first, as we worked hard to include as many veterans as possible and we were able to find some Revolutionary War soldiers to add to this book in honor of America250.

This will be the last book of its kind in the series. $30.00, prepaid orders only this time. I will be purchasing only the number of books that are prepaid. There will be no extra copies and the book will not be available any other way.

To check if your family members are included in the book, as we used public information from newspaper articles also, feel free to call or send me a message at (607) 287-0877.

These books are now part of Cooperstown’s well-deserved history.

The final book in the set will be a beautiful collection of letters written by soldiers to their wives, moms, dads, sisters, brothers and loved ones. You are not going to want to miss this one. I couldn’t think of a better way to complete the set.

This is Cooperstown’s and the surrounding area’s history of our men and women who fought for our freedom. I have already begun this volume, and if you would like to submit any letters, you may do so at this time. My address is PO Box 493, Cooperstown, New York 13326.

Thank you for your continued support in honoring our local heroes.
