Had Sex With Teen Boy

LAURENS – A woman was arrested after police alleged she had sexual intercourse with a teenage boy and sent him sexually explicit text messages.

According to the Otsego County Sheriff’s office, Shelly Ann Young, 37, allegedly had sex with a male under the age of 15 and allegedly sent him a text message asking him to perform sexual acts on her.

She was arrested and charged with Rape in the Second Degree, and Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor in the First Degree, both Class D felonies.  She was arraigned in the central court and remanded to the Otsego County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
